Orchid, YOU THE MAN!!! This guy ran me from Lions Arch to the Desert and also did all the 3 Missions there (with henchies ONLY!!!) so I can Ascend early. I'd also like to add that this guy right here IS THE BEST Runner I've ever seen! Fast, smart and kewl! Awesome, awesome run dude!!!
**I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ORCHID FOR ANY RUNNING THAT YOU'LL NEED**

^^ Same.
If someone gives out their secrets and trusts that you will not spread them, you should respect that person's wishes man :/
I (if I am accepted) have no problem with paying for the manual and personally, would rather do that than be given the secrets as a result of broken trust heh.
Thanks,
Optime.

Thanks for all the interest in the Academy. I am an attorney in real life and have been swamped the last couple of days with work (emergency motions in an extremely important lawsuit). I sincerely and personally apologize to those who have not heard from someone yet about their applications. I will be online in game tonight for about an hour to welcome new people into the Academy, so I will see you in game if you have applied and have questions (if you can be on around 9:00 central time). The admission board is doing a tremendous service, but it has proven to take over a week in some cases for the full board to vote on some applications. We are trying to accelerate that process and thank everyone for their patience.

It will be kind of amusing imagining the people (if they get it) with the outdated manual trying to run to droks or something with the old pre update build. And they will keep on trying and trying thinking it is the best build when in fact it is near enough useless.

once i get my fissure, and the 15 ectos, this is definitely something i will do.
just in 3-4 weeks...
LBSRA sounds exciting! Great idea!
btw, does anyone know what type of fissure i should get?(its warrior female) ascalon, dragon or gladiator?

To tell the truth, this guild isnt really about the build (the reason for me wanting to join anyway). Its about the respect, and like LBS talks about, being certified by a master. I can already do the droks run, infact almost any run (apart from a couple in southern shiverpeaks), but am getting the money to join to have the knowledge that im not alone.

Hi.
I'm glad that the posting of the manual wasn't as much as a threat to the Academy as it would seem. I would also like to say that, from what I have seen, the people from LBS are very nice, and seem to be very trustworthy.
Also {IceFire}, if you are aiming to become a runner, although I am not 100% sure, Gladiators may be the way to go. Hopefully someone can confirm this though
Thanks,
Optime/Zanpaku To

Man, you really should just give up. Many people really do not care about what you have to say. You have your own opinion, that's fine but I recommend you stop trying to change the opinions of others because it simply will not work.
I want to join for the exact reason FyrFytr outlined and I do not particularly like being called an idiot for it. I really don't see the reason why you are trying (but not really succeeding) to destroy the Academy, in fact, I personally think it is rather childish. But of course, that's just my opinion.
Thanks,
Optime.

There's also griff-farming... I make about 10 plat/hour on a good day (just be ready to get bored to tears), or 30 plat/hour running Droks.

I wish I could do Droks or farm the griffons. I want to join the academy to learn how to do Droks and Southern Shiverpeaks. If I could farm the griffons I would, but I'm not very succesful at it so I'm just hoping some people will let me be their runner due to my cheap prices.

I've never met a W/MO who couldn't farm griffons. It's like taking candy from a baby. My IGN is Crovax Blackthorne. Look me up if you want to see how it's done. Like the other guy said though. It can get boring. And I take my time on farm runs so Rockshots don't screw my day up. The only reqisites you need are Gladiators Armor and Augry Rock on your map. (Plus the necessary skills of course.)
In total I'm clearing about 5k per run killing all Minotaurs, Rockshots, and Griffons in that and surrounding area. And the 5k doesn't include gold weapon sales.
Also, why was my post deleted earlier?
